I was at the WW 2 memorial when I saw the Cattle Egrets. I believe they
were flying along the river. I believe they were flying to my left, on the other
side of the tree line. I am sorry I didn't pay a whole lot of attention I thought
that they were a rare but regular fly by. They were completely White. To
small for Great Egret, they weren't Snowy Egrets because they had yellow-
orange colored legs. I ruled out the Gulls that were there today becasue the
birds were to big and completely white. Cattle Egrets were a common sight
when I lived in El Salvador and that is what these birds first struck me as
being. If I hadn't gotten so acquanted with them there I wouldn't posted the
message.
Also to those that go down to the mall in the round pool next to the WW
2 memorial I saw a duckling that was completely creamy colored swimming
with a bunch of regular colored ducklings. The creamy color was like the
creamy flecks in the regular ones but one solid color except for a brown streak
on its head.
