I did some late-morning birding in the McKeldin area of Patapsco
Valley State Park (extreme eastern Carroll Co) going from the rapids
area west about 1/2 mile then back via the purple trail. I saw and
heard a Cerulean Warbler along the short road to the rapids viewpoint.
I did not have any in the usual Cerulean area where the white and
purple trails meet by the river towards Marriottsville Rd.

I did not encounter Yellow-throated Warbler (although I did not go too
close to Marriottsville Rd). I stopped by the nearby Liberty Dam
trailhead (in rain) and did not have it there either. (Pete Webb,
Keith Costley, and I did hear a Yellow-throated Warbler at the
trailhead the May 11 for the May count.)
