I spent some time in Caroline Co today (5/18) mostly on Country Farm and
Line Roads. I went in to Idylwild just before the rain started and
found an Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler. Its beak was pointed up and I
saw the yellow throat first, so I was thinking Yellow-throated Warbler,
but it had bright white areas on the wings and a yellow rump. This is
the first time I have seen an Audubon's in the east.
