Visit the Delaware Birding Trail at http://www.delawarebirdingtrail.org/. For
shorebirds check out the places in the Delaware Bay Coast Region.

My birding friends and I go to Delaware quite a bit, in fact we just were there
yesterday. If you want to see shorebirds, these are my recommendations:

Port Mahon (part of the Little Creek Wildlife Management Area)
Ted Harvey Wildlife Area (Logan Tract)
DuPont Nature Center at Mispillion Reserve
Slaughter Beach (access from Evans Ave)
Fowler Beach
Broadkill Road (you enter Prime Hook Headquarters here which has various
trails, but more importantly you continue to the impoundments at the end
where you'll find shorebirds and other waterfowl at appropriate times of the
year).

At this time of year, these will yield you a lot of shorebirds.
