Weather: Sunny, becoming cloudier over the course of the day; 57-70 degrees; excellent visibility; winds light and variable becoming northwesterly, 5-13 mph gusting to 21 mph
Raptor Observations: Another nice run of immature Broad-winged Hawks along with vultures,
Ospreys, and Bald Eagles
Non-raptor Observations: Several Common Nighthawks, at least six Spotted Sandpipers yesterday and today; swallows (including a few Cliff), Chimney Swifts and Purple Martins
still numerous; Northern Waterthrush

Site Description: Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
