Google mail was not affected.  I've had a Google mail account for some time 
and have migrated away from Comcast mail for oh so many reasons.

Ed, it would appear that Yahoo and Gmail are relatively free of problems
with excessively aggressive spam filters.  The MSN/Hotmail problems  are due
to spam filtration which appears to have been tightened recently for god
knows what reason but they seem to have pulled back a bit now.  Further, the
Comcast folks who have resubscribed to MDOsprey don't appear to be having
any problems now either.  Keeping my fingers crossed.
