To All:

I have never had a problem with Gmail. I have several addresses there. The
one I set for MDOSPREY posts to go to currently has 36,414 entries in it
(currently using 21% of allotted space on this address - but you just ask
them for more space or create another address or both). Thousands and
thousands of these are MDOSPREY posts. I never throw them away and when I
want to check or look up something I do a search. Beats going to the site
and trying to find it.

I do not believe anything has dropped on my email as described. When I
joined several years ago, the site was at capacity and it took a while to
get on as a participant. Apparently it was hit or miss. If someone quit and
you were trying to get on at the time, you were, luckily, in. I see people
citing the need to join again. I guess they are getting the slots back that
were lost. If I remember correctly there were only something like 470
accounts/users on MDOSPREY and I know some people are signed on under more
than one alias. I also follow the PA.BIRDS list.serve and I just checked and
there are currently 1088 participants there and apparently there are no
capacity issues.
