Birds seen on a short visit to Swallow Falls State Park and Grantsville in
Garrett County on May 25 and 26 (I wasn't able to post until today):

Black Vulture (first I've seen in Garrett County), Barred Owl, Golden-crowned
Kinglet, Veery, a pair of Blue-headed Vireos, male and female Blackburnian
Warblers, Magnolia Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, and a male Scarlet
Tanager.

Today (5/26) in fields along Dorsey Hotel Road north of Grantsville were four
Bobolinks (3 males and one female), a few Savannah Sparrows, two young
Horned Larks, and an Eastern Meadowlark.
