I spent the morning in northeastern Washington County and the top of
Frederick County. Starting in Washington Co., the eastern half of Warner
Hollow Rd was a nice shady spot on a hot day. The woods along the road
had 2 Kentucky Warblers, 2 Hooded Warblers and a Red-eyed Vireo on a nest.
I then drove east from Ft Ritchie to Harney. Highlights included 2 Willow
Flycatchers on Harbaugh Valley Rd, a Blue-winged Warbler on Friends Creek
Rd, and a Dickcissel on Harney Rd between Bullfrog Rd and Bollinger School Rd.
