A great crested flycatcher visited our deck yesterday.  We're not sure  
what it was doing.  When I first saw it, it was clinging to our screen  
door, picking at it.  We had a great look at the beautiful yellow wash  
on its belly and its translucent, rusty red tail.  I looked later and  
did not see any insects on the door.  I wonder if it was looking for  
something to build its nest.  I took some strings from an old towel  
and put them on the deck, but no takers yet.
