Walking our dogs in Wheaton Regional Park yesterday afternoon was actually fairly interesting for birds -- we had 3-4 Scarlet Tanagers on territory, famiy party of Ovenbirds, agitated pair of Veeries and also an agitated pair of Louisiana Waterthrushes, which appraently *did* succesully breed this year along a tiny but rather undisturbed streamlet in the park.

Other migrants singing included Wood-pewee, numerous Red-eyed Vireos, several Acadian Flycatchers, Gnatcatcher, Towhee and Wood Thrush.
