I went out on my usual early morning walk on the fireroad at Prettyboy. I
heard more birds than I saw but top on my list was seeing the Barred Owl
again. I am not sure if this is one of the Owlets grown now or if it is the adult.
Masybe someone can tell from my picture below. I might have missed seeing it
but I heard and saw many birds fussing and some were dive bombing the Owl.

Other birds heard and seen on my walk were the Acadian Flycatcher, Wood-
Pewee, the cool sounding Veery, lots of Ovenbirds, Scarlet Tanagers, Gray
Catbirds, Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers, Pileated Woodpecker, Red Bellied
Woodpecker, Geese and Carolina Chickadees, Carolina Wrens and Blackbirds.

A neat new yardbird for me last night was the sighting of a Great Crested
Flycatcher perched on a Shepherd Hook right on my deck.
