I spent the morning in the Millington area of Kent County and on the
backroads of southern Cecil County. Cecil turned out to be more interesting,
with a Dickcissel on Worsell Manor Rd and a Vesper Sparrow and Northern
Bobwhite on Middleneck Rd. Grasshopper Sparrows and Blue Grosbeaks
seemed to be everywhere. The Dickcissel was in a weedy field on the west
side of the road, about halfway between Rt 282 and Bohemia Church Rd. In
Kent County, a Kentucky Warbler on Big Stone Rd was a county close-out for
me.
