Hi David,
Hope your summer is going well. I have not done much birding, but I
thought I'd share a sighting with you and you can forward it onto
MDOsprey if you 'd like. I did not have binoculars for any of these
observations, but am pretty confident of my identification:

On Wednesday July 2, I saw a MERLIN land on the southwest lights of
the Johns Hopkins lacrosse field, being mobbed by 2 Barn Swallows and
a Robin. The Sunday a week an a half prior, I saw a Merlin perched up
in a tall tree from the road between Wyman Park and JHU campus, and
(probably the same) flyover Wyman park field a couple hours before that.
