We once had a R-S Hawk spend a number of days perch-hunting from bushes at 
the edge of our yard. I was curious as to what it was getting from the "lawn"*. 
Inspection revealed that it was probably digging in the mole tunnels. There 
were holes in the tunnels all over the area.

*It's green, it gets mowed, it's mostly weeds, that's why it's in quotes. ;-)
