Hi all,
Just minutes ago, a female American Redstart was perched on our front porch
railing, just outside our home/office window. I was sitting at the desk
doing office work when it flew in, landed briefly on the railing, then flew up to
the corner of the porch ceiling out of view, presumably after some insect.
This was followed by a young (or disheveled adult) Carolina Wren in the beds
just beyond the railing. Ahhh, the lure of "office birding". I see a new list
developing...
