I sighted a single Ovenbird on Lower Kingman island. It flew up from the
trail to alight on a branch about 3m above ground.
Wild Rice was thick and tall within replanted/restored exclosures of tidal
marsh and Red-winged Blackbirds were feeding enmasse among the beds.
Additional notable sightings:
Wood Duck
Osprey
Laughing Gull
Forster's Tern (3 actively foraging individuals)
Belted Kingfisher (a pair)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Indigo Bunting
Dhananjaya Katju
