While not birding in my yard about 3-4 days ago, I heard a distinctive song
I thought was a warbler with which I was not familiar. (I live along
Snowdens Run, which flows into Liberty Lake, in a wooded area that is an
extension of the Liberty Lake watershed forest.) I thought I had heard the
same song in trees, also while not birding, in York, PA about 2 weeks
before. In neither case did I see the bird. My best guess was Tennessee
Warbler, and the distinctive 3-part song was a good match with the Thayer
Birds of North America recording.

Since the yellow book shows this to be pretty early for a Tennessee Warbler,
and I have about zero experience with the bird in the field, I was
wondering if anyone has seen or heard one recently, or if there is another
species' song which may have fooled me.

I also realize that for the bird to be singing now is also pretty unusual.
