Dear All

After a nice social morning in Rock Creek today and a few birds to boot I wanted to add on two birds I saw yesterday.

I spent the day with the children but to my surprise saw a very obliging Worm-eating Warbler in the National Zoo, in the low bushes around the water font in the "Zoo in you Yard" exhibit. It was the only migrant I saw all morning.

I the afternoon we went to Cabin John Regional Park where I stumbled across a Louisiana Waterthrush feeding around a puddle along one of the trails (by the miniature railway). I wasn't expecting to see this species so late (I still need it for the yr in DC) and would have expected it to be Northern more likely - but it wasn't.

Best
