To follow up on Tyler Bell's posting yesterday, if you are coming
from the north, and west of the Patuxent River, I would suggest the
following: take the Capital Beltway to MD Rte. 5. Go south to the
Brandywine area of Prince George's County and turn left (east) on
MD Rte. 381 (Brandywine Road). Follow it all the way to the
Aquasco area and the not-yet-functioning traffic light at Eagle Harbor
Road. Turn left. Eagle Harbor Road becomes Trueman Point Road
(bear left) at the entrance to the Chalk Point power plant. There
are "no parking" signs posted at the end of Trueman Point Road, but
apparently you can park on the right shoulder about a half block
before the end of the road (where there are no signs). Cedarhaven
is posted as a "private community," so I haven't ventured in there.
As always, please be considerate of the residents.
