These two wonderful birds were still at the North Beach (2nd) marsh area in
Calvert County, Maryland from 11:45am - 2:00pm today.  The phalarope moved
up and down the far side of the marsh

while the avocet actually flew to the far end a couple times and across the
road once.  The avocet kept returning to the area where the phalarope was
hanging out.

Life birds for me, hope those close by get to make the trip to see them too.
