I wasn't able to do an all-day search at any distance, but
thought I'd at least try to see what Hanna swept up the Bay
by spending a few hours at Sandy Point under the eaves
(of course, it was miserable out there) of the South Beach House.

	At 11:30 (and again about 12:30) I saw a Sabine's gull,
in reasonably good light, and in my scope for nearly two
minutes (it was beating north directly into a strong headwind
and was barely moving relative to my position.)

The distinctive upper-wing pattern was seen in detail along with
other field marks. A large flock of gulls was feeding in the area
(not quite out out about as far as the western bridge tower)
and might be worth checking again as soon as possible.
