Hi Folks,

While many of you were watching for storm birds along the ocean and bay, a few of us headed west to look for storm fallout in the piedmont.  Jim Stasz, Bill Hubick, Tom Feild, John Hubbell and I spent the day in Montgomery, Howard, Carroll, Frederick, and Washington Counties.  We were also accompanied by Jim Green during our early a.m. stops.  A quick rundown on our highlights (primarily migrant warblers and shorebirds) follows:

It was a good, though soaking day, and Stasz got a county bird (and first county record) and the rest of us finished with a handful or more of county birds.  We're hoping for some more storm fallout tomorrow, since we missed the great stuff along the shorelines.
