From Winger West and Dave Brenneman at Hurlock sod farm along Rte 331

7-8:55 am

viewing from area just north of goal post

shortly after arriving, both independently heard a couple of chuck notes

but as traffic increased along 331 made it hard to hear anything

several meadowlarks seen walking along swale all appeared to be eastern meadowlark

no birds seen out in open on sod until one bird flew in at 8:50 a.m. when packing up to leave

scope was pulled out to get a better look (didn't hear more from them so presumably an eastern)

pictures taken will be reviewed later

to infinity and beyond (or maybe Ocean City)
