Lake Needwood Migrant Bonanza 9/10

Hi all,
   
    Driven by birding  intuition, I decided to bird Lake Needwood in Rockville along the western side(Lake side trail); I wasn't disappointed.  Birds were everywhere!  I did a mini big sit and stayed in one area for about 2 hours.  Here is a list of what was seen & heard:
   
  Time: 11:30am-4:30pm Lakeside trail & Blue Heron trail

  3 Black & White Warblers
  3 Chesnut sided Warblers
  1 Hooded Warbler
  3 Black thrt Blue Warblers
  1 Blue winged Warbler
  2 Parula Warblers
  4 Magnolia Warblers (fall imm)
  2 Yellow throats
  1 Ovenbird
  1 Canada Warbler
  3 Baltimore Orioles
  1 Red winged blackbird
  2 Red eyed Vireo
  1 PHILADELPHIA VIREO
  1 White eyed Vireo
  3 Rose breasted Grosbeaks
  3 Ruby throated Hummingbirds
  1 Scarlet Tanager (molting male)
  2 Eastern Bluebirds
  12 Gray Catbirds

  15 American Robins (feeding heavy in wild cherry)
