Subject: Poplar Island Sightings from August 23, 30 and September 8,  2008

            This report is submitted on behalf of Jan Reese of Talbot
County, who continues to periodically survey the flora and fauna of the Paul
Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island. 
            These sightings include the birds seen over a 3-week period.
Some of the birds were seen from the boat during the trip from Tilghman
Island and back. 
			
	Weather: 8/23 overcast early am, partly sunny pm;  Temp range 74-81
degrees F 
		   8/30 heavy overcast with  mist am, partly sunny pm;  Temp
range 74-82
		   9/8  mostly clear am and pm
