Migrants during my morning walk around Schoolhouse Pond included 1 adult female Wilson's Warbler. The bird was actively foraging in the scrub willows near the boardwalk. Also present was a 1st fall Magnolia Warbler, 2 Common Yellowthroats, 2 American Redstarts, and 2 Northern Waterthrush. Waders included 4 Great Egrets (including 3 flyovers) and 3 Great Blue Herons. Trumpeter Swan #962 continues. Also of note was a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, which I got close views of near the trail at the rear of the pond. Large numbers of Chimney Swifts were foraging high above the pond during most of my walk. Laughing Gulls flew overhead sporadically in small groups.
