I made an unplanned stop at Milford Mill in the late morning. To my
surprise it was fairly birdy.
I got my first solid Swainson's Thrushes of the season. Three or four
were doing their "whit" notes, and one did the raspy note, and two
actually performed their songs weakly.
The warblers were:
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1
Black-and-white Warbler 3+
American Redstart ~5
Common Yellowthroat 1
Canada Warbler 2
And, little glimpses of parts of a possible Prothonotary Warbler. The
front was basically yellow, and the spread tail had white tail "spots"
that did not extend to the end of the tail.
