Hi all,
My brother and I did some birding around Montgomery County today. We started off with a quick stop at Woodend where it was quiet, then moved on to Little Bennet where we had 10 warbler species. Later I took a walk at Hughes Hollow where there was predictably little activity in the heat of the afternoon (zero egrets and herons), finally stopped for a look at the Yellow-crowned Night-herons in North Bethesda. At least one YCNH is still present at the Grosvenor Park pond as of 5:30 today. Highlights listed below.

Woodend
  Ruby-throated Hummingbird
  Magnolia Warbler
  American Redstart
Baltimore Oriole (including a singing male)

Little Bennet (mostly Kingsley Trail)
  Brown Thrasher
  White-eyed Vireo
  Red-eyed Vireo
  1 Philadelphia Vireo
3 Nashville Warblers gave long looks at eye-level
  Ovenbird
  Black-throated Blue Warbler
  Black-throated Green Warbler
  American Redstart
  Magnolia Warbler
  Northern Parula
  Black-and-white Warbler
  Chestnut-sided Warbler
  Common Yellowthroat
  Common Raven
