This morning I had the pleasure of birding with Jeanne and Paul on the fireroad at Prettyboy. They are great company and it is wonderful to have more eyes looking and not to mention their experience.

We saw some great birds and I even pick up a lifer.. the Black throated Green Warbler.
At one part of the trail we saw and heard birds in all directions. I think the three of each saw different birds at that time.

Here is a list of the birds we saw and heard.

Canada Goose
Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture
Mourning Dove
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Northern Flicker
Pileated Woodpecker
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue Jay
American Crow
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
White-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Wren
House Wren
Gray Catbird
Nashville Warbler
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Pine Warbler
Eastern Towhee
Northern Cardinal
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Purple Finch

Thanks to Jeanne and Paul for joining me, it was a great birdie day at Prettyboy.
