Highlights from my morning walk around Schoolhouse Pond in Upper Marlboro included a Black-throated Green Warbler, a Black and White Warbler, and a Magnolia Warbler. Also present were several Common Yellowthroats, several Great Blue Herons, 1 Great Egret, 2 Wood Ducks, both the Trumpeter and Mute Swan, a flyover adult Bald Eagle, and a swirling flock of Chimney Swifts, being whipped about in the wind. Several small groups of Canada Geese also flew over.
