Highlights of a late afternoon bird walk at the garden plots were a Nashville Warbler that allowed nice long looks, a yellow Palm Warbler and my first Ruby-crowned Kinglet of the fall. On the opposite side of Oakland Mills Road from the gardens was a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
