   A very brief stop at Piney Run Park on 9/29 yielded 2 Pied-billed Grebes and 15 Chipping Sparrows.
   On 9/30 at Liberty Watershed off Bollinger Mill Road:
Phoebe  1
Blue-headed Vireo  1
Red-eyed Vireo  2
Wood Thrush  2
Catbird  2
Chestnut-sided Warbler  1
Magnolia Warbler  1
Black-throated Green Warbler  3
Pine Warbler  1, heard only, still singing
Blackpoll Warbler  2
Towhee  3
Rose-breasted Grosbeak  1, heard only

   This morning (10/1) at Piney Run Park:
Canada Goose  325
Mallard  11
HOODED MERGANSER  1, female or immature, probably a local rather than a migrant
RUDDY DUCK  3, my first of the season
Pied-billed Grebe  5
Great Blue Heron  1
YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO  1, only the second I have seen this fall
