Amid the occasional thudding of falling walnuts and the air shows of red wasps, there were two highlights today: a WINTER WREN and an especially striking BLUE-HEADED VIREO. RC Kinglets were everywhere it seemed. Also common yellowthroats, yellow rumps, and a magnolia.
On my way home, 2 osprey were playing, flying very close to the road and water around Lock Raven dam.
