yesterday at little bennett i checked for beaver activity after noting a few days ago a tree cut by beavers on the east  side of the bridge on clarksburg road. the tree didn't fall all the way down as it was hung up on the bridge. after a few days they had cut out 2 more chunks from the bottom of the trunk and then i was able to push the tree down. also there was a small dam on that side of the creek which looked unfinished to me. so yesterday i went to west side of the bridge and waded thru the weeds to see what was going on and discovered 3  complete dams about 100 yards or so apart. but there wasn't yet a lodge and i didn't see any beavers. so now i am waiting for more developments.
