Today at 3 PM at Druid Ridge Cemetery (Pikesville) I finally got some
good looks at Pine Siskins of the current wave. It was a very active
flock of about thirty birds in the line of hemlocks on the northern
edge of the cemetery near several Tunstall" graves, about a quarter
mile west of the maintenance building. The Siskins were very talented
at disappearing into the foliage, but I did see some very well.
Closer to the Maintenance building I saw a perched Merlin. There were
also quite a few Juncos around.
