Went to Triadelphia Reservoir late this afternoon to see if the wind had knocked down anything unusual. Most of the birds seen were the normal cast of characters but the Northern Shovelers were the most interesting. Each species was seen in both Howard and Montgomery Counties unless noted otherwise:

Canada Goose - 10
Mallard - 7
Northern Shoveler - 15
Green-winged Teal - 5
Pied-billed Grebe - 1
Great Blue heron - 1 (Mont. Co)
Great Egret - 1 (Mont. Co)
Turkey Vulture - 7 (Ho Co)
Bald Eagle - 1 Adult
Killdeer - 2 (Mont. Co)
Ring-billed Gull - 1
Belted Kingfisher - 1 (Mont. Co)
Northern Flicker - 1 (Mont. Co)
Carolina Chickadee - 2 (Mont. Co)
Tufted Titmouse - 2 (Mont. Co)
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 4 (Mont. Co)
