Dear All

I managed a very quick pass of the Potomac VA shore this afternoon. No sign of any ducks at all at Daingerfield Island - but an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull some consolation. But at Gravelly Point there was a Common Loon, a flyover single American Pipit and two scoters which eventually revealed themselves to be imm Surfs. They were upstream of Gravelly Pt near to the railway bridge and would have been better viewed from Hains Point probably.

Cheers
