After getting a noon-time call from Gary A., I tried to refind the 2
SURF SCOTERS along the Potomac at the end of the day.  From work, I got
to Hains Pt at about 4:30 pm.  Tide was high when Gary saw the birds, so
I figured that they may have drifted downstream over the course of the
afternoon as the tide went out.  So my first stop was at the southern
most parking area near the tip.  It didn't take long to find the two
birds as they drifted further downstream.  I first saw them roughly
opposite the tip of the point, but they continued heading down the river
towards the stretch where Gail & Barry first found them (thanks Gail &
Barry & Gary).
