This afternoon there was a group of about 15 Rusty Blackbirds high in the bare branches of a tree in the swampy area west of the main impoundment. Otherwise there was a Red-tailed Hawk, juvenile Red-headed Woodpecker, Yellow rumps. A female Belted Kingfisher was fishing both impoundments by hovering stationary for as much as 10 seconds about 30 feet above the water -I counted- and then diving straight -plumetting really-down to pick up a fish.
