On Saturday, while watching the clouds of black birds on 213 also near Kennedyville, we watched a male Northern Harrier catch one in mid-air but close to the ground. It then landed with its prey. We noticed it fly again just a few seconds later and didn't know if it killed its prey and left it for later and went on to catch another, or if the prey got away.
