Hi all. I made it down to QA county yesterday. I met up with a couple other birders. I showed up a few minutes after 10 and left a little after 1. There was no sign of the Shrike. I am getting tired of not finding Northern Shrikes. Nice job by the way Nico. I was hoping this was going to be it.
On the way down coming thru Kent County, I had 2 Red-tailed Hawks harassing a flock of black birds. One of them did catch one in flight, then the other tried to take it from the Rt H. They fell to the ground talons locked. That was unbelievable. I did get some photographs of that, but it was far away. I will post them later.

Also, the pond on 213 in Kennedyville, (Kent County) had 5 Least Sandpipers in it and 2 Pectoral Sandpipers along with 25 Killdeer and 6 Pintail.

Other birds of interest in QA County were;

Killdeer 50 plus
Red-tailed Hawk 4
Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Northern Pipit 2
Horned Lark 15
Tree Swallow 1
Palm Warbler 1
Purple Finch 2
Pine Siskin 5
