Traipsed around Cromwell Valley Park for a couple hours this morning,
primarily because Dan was jealous of the Fox Sparrows I had there
earlier in the week. We didn't find any Fox Sparrows at CVP, but did
have three bald eagles hanging out over the Reservoir area for a long
time before they took off along the ridge to be counted by Jim Meyers &
Andy Smith at the hawkwatch.

We also had Hairy Woodpecker, Ruby-crowned & Gold-crowned Kinglets,
Kestrel and one Yellow-rumped Warbler.

While eating our lunch at the window overlooking the back yard, along
with 20-30 House Sparrows and a few White-throats was Dan's first Fox
Sparrow of the season.
