Walking between my office and another lab here at SERC around 9 am, there was a string of Canada Geese flying overhead. I did a mental tally of about 50 geese then noticed 4 geese in the front of the V that were white! They were heading west toward Muddy Creek Rd. Seems like there are some nice ag fields further west near Rt. 2 so perhaps that's where they were heading for breakfast. Nice tick for my work list!

BTW, the Rufous/Allen's Hummer was at Sue's house shortly after first light this morning. Jim Stasz was there and George Jett showed up with his bazooka as we were leaving. Please George, get a nice spread tail shot!
