Finally! We had none (that we saw) last year and so far this winter, but  
today I noticed two around 1:45, three a few minutes later, and then a dozen  
that stayed quite a while in a feeding frenzy, six on each thistle sock.
 
We've had a single Chipping Sparrow at the feeder since Sunday.
 
The stream in front of the Mt. Washington Starbucks - Whole Foods parking  
lot hosted five Hooded Mergansers,  M and 2 F, around 11:00am this  morning.
