There was also one adult Bonie here this morning at Jug Bay, resting with the ringers at low tide on the mudflat. It was on the main channel, just below the old railroad crossing. Much of the upper end of Jug Bay was froze over, but is "opening" up now as the tide pushes in to cover the ice.

I have been looking for the Ross' that was seen here at last week's Jug Bay Christmas Count, but have not seen it. No other noteworthy sightings to report, but I will be on the lookout for Horned Grebes!
