I can't resist adding a few factoids for additional perspective:
-- Minnedosa is a small town in the province of Manitoba, roughly 75
miles north of the Canada/North Dakota border.
-- Minnedosa is at 50.25 deg north latitude. Winnepeg, the biggest city
in Manitoba, is at 50.0 degrees.
-- The town is in the interior, nowhere near any large lake.
Bottom line, those prairie provinces are windswept and COLD! Poor sparrow.
