We spent the day birding on Assateague Island and at the inlet in Ocean
City. We did see one of the Snowy Owls about two and a quarter miles
down the OSV trail from the parking area. It was sitting right in the
middle of the beach on a little dune and spent the next hour flying back
and forth on the dunes. Two King Eiders were present at the inlet.
