Greetings,

Spent 20 minutes in nasty cold wind, drinking in great scope looks at the
Tufted Duck at the Cambridge Marina this morning around 10 a.m. I then moved
on to the parking lot of the Yacht Club, parked, looked out onto the water in
front of me and saw two male wigeons. One American, one Eurasian. Before I
could even think about my next step, they took off, flew toward the river and
then cut back behind the Club toward the Marina. I did not see them land.
With help I found one Redhead amongst the hundreds of Canvasbacks seen from
Oakley Street.

Also spent about 2 hours searching the fields south and west of Easton. I
found thousands of Canada Geese, one indisputable ... Snow Goose (a little
rush for a minute there) at Rt. 333 near the Country Club, and at least 10
Northern Shovelers. At Peachblossom Creek & Rt. 333 -- amidst about 250 Canada
Geese I found 1 Mute Swan, 2 Hooded Mergansers, 1 Ruddy Duck. On the return
from Cambridge I saw a flock of approximately 100 Snow Geese fly over Rt. 50
near Trappe, headed bay-ward as I sped northward.
