Hi Folks,

I visited Thomas Point Park in Annapolis after work today, and then headed
over to Whitehall Rd. The highlight at Thomas Point was the drake REDHEAD
swimming through the raft of nearly 2000 Canvasbacks along the waterfront
north of the park. Also notable were nine AMERICAN WIGEON swimming off the
point, and a tenth one among the Canvasbacks. Other finds are in the ebird
report below, but I didn't do any scoping today, so the list pales in
comparison with last weekend's list when, during the Annapolis CBC, Kevin
Graff and I found such notables here as Wood Duck, Red-throated Loon, and
Great Cormorant.

From Thomas Point I headed over to the turf farms along Whitehall Rd., where
I found two Richardson's CACKLING GEESE among the herd of Canadas, numbering
on the order of 1000. These may well be the Cacklers found nearby by Hal
Wierenga during the CBC last weekend.
